Food and service were both good. There's no rush to order or pay once you're finished eating. You just get in line & pay at the register. They offer a small menu and some bevs. We both had the Iced Milk Coffee. It was good. The food was pretty tasty. The two of us shared the Fish Sauce Chicken Wings, Banh Mi Chao (deconstructed sandwich) and the Banh Canh Cua (crab udon noodle soup). The chicken wings were sweeter than expected but tasted good. It was moist. The deconstructed banh mi had a variety of flavor profiles & textures which was delicious. Especially with fresh French bread. My favorite thus far & I would go back for just this one dish. The noodle soup did taste like crab, however, there's very little crab meat in it. The udon noodles were already broken into pieces making it easy to eat with just a spoon. No chopsticks needed. It was my first time dining here & I wouldn't mind trying more dishes. Out server mentioned that there are specials offered during weekends as well.

Every dish is done to perfection with a sense of originality. The dining room is clean and well decorated. Service is better than expected. Overall, my favorite vietnamese restaurant in Sacramento for these particular dishes. Great job!

Got the shaken beef with red rice and it was solid overall. Meat was tender, cooked well, and had that nice sear, although the sauce was a bit saltier than my taste. Presentation was nice and the place has that modern Vietnamese vibe going on. Portion was very generous too. Would I come back? Yeah, I’d just probably try something else next time.

A cozy place to hang out with friends and family. All the foods were really delicious with a reasonable price. It's quite a limited option for a Vietnamese restaurant but I then they have time to focus on the quality of the foods. Definitely coming back for more.

Saigon Ơi is a lively, bustling spot that feels perfect on a rainy day or honestly any day. The restaurant sits on a curved corner with lots of windows, so it gets great natural light during the day, paired with warm interior lighting that keeps things cozy. It can get noisy when packed since tables are close together, but you can still hold a conversation. We ordered the Bánh Canh Cua and the weekend special Bún Riêu. Both were beautifully presented, served boiling hot in clay pots, which really elevated the experience. This might be the best presentation of Vietnamese food I have seen in Sacramento. The Bún Riêu was outstanding and one of the best I have had outside of Vietnam. The crab udon tasted just like the versions in Saigon. Portions look modest but are very satisfying. What really stood out was the authenticity. You can see real crab meat, snails, and quality ingredients throughout. It is clear they do not cut corners, which I truly appreciate as someone familiar with Vietnamese cuisine. Service was attentive and thoughtful. Our server gave good recommendations, checked in at the right time, and immediately brought a high chair when we arrived with a toddler. Tables we
